Being on a team is a privilege and a responsibility at the same time. I can tell you from experience that being on a team is a great experience and most of us go through it during our lifetime.Whether it’s being on a sports team, a study group, or a work team, being on a team is great. In order for the team to perform at its highest level, all team members must work together and have a team first mentality.
That means that you should look at each other as brothers and sisters and help each other out whenever possible.
It is natural for there to be disagreements between team members. You must have a fair and systemized approach to handling these issues when they arise. They must not interfere with the team’s purpose or goal. Accomplishing goals can be much easier when working on a team and striving to that one common goal. So as you can see, being on a team is a lot of responsibility but the reward is so much greater. For example, the other day I bought window shades for my home and had installers in my home and they worked as a team to finish a lot sooner. I would never trade those team or group experiences for anything in the world. They taught me so much and I made lots of great friends.
